I was curious about the Peanut Butter and Jelly Burger so I got it thinking I may regret it. It was so good! You wouldn't think that goes with a burger but somehow it does! The fries were great too! The price wasn't too bad I didn't think. I will def be back!
Food-outstanding Friendliness-terrific Speed of service-they need to work on Quaint medium-size restaurant setting. Multiple televisions throughout. Wish they had closed captioning on them but I guess we should all be more engaged with our company than watching television. Menu includes wings, fried pickles, chicken tenders, shrimp basket, hot dogs, smash burgers, salads and more. The service is a tad bit slow but we did visit there right at lunchtime on a weekday. Each table has a roll of paper towels on it which I love. That saves the server some time. Each table also has mustard, hot sauce and salt and pepper on it. But no silverware on the table. After waiting 20 minutes, we were told they don't have any potato salad. And when the order came out, it was someone else's. When the correct order came out, the Furman burger didn't have the pickles or grilled onions. It had bacon on it which the menu didn't indicate was on the burger. The server explained bacon comes on the burger, it just isn't written. She went to the back and brought me a small cup of pickles and a small cup of grilled onions. The food was really good. It is worth the wait as long as you have the time and the right company to sit with
So glad we stopped in for lunch today. Smash Burger, Tater Tots and the best Onion Rings we've had in a very long time! Casual setting with friendly and attentive staff. This will be a regular stop for us!
Furman's does everything right. We have had the burgers, the subs, and the chicken sandwiches. They are all amazing. Very tasty, very fresh, and lots of it. We almost always bring home half of our meal when we eat there. The service is always friendly and attentive. Yes, it's going to take a bit for your food to come out, but it's well worth the wait. The restaurant itself is always clean, and well arranged. I have only eaten at the one in Waynesville, but am looking forward to trying the Canton location. We highly recommend Furman's. ******* Pricing ******* The menu pricing does not match the price on your receipt. I assume this is due to a new computer setup that they have. That said, this was the second time we have been there since the new computer system was installed. They still haven't fixed this pricing issue. The variance in price between the menu and the receipts isn't huge. It won't stop me from eating there. However, it is a bit off putting that the pricing doesn't match.
Yes I recommend this place. The smash burgers are top tier. Staff is super friendly and atmosphere is great. Stop here if you want some of the best burgers in Haywood county.
